There’s a new boss in The Lab.

He’s enormous. He’s angry. He can destroy the floor underneath you.

So, pretty standard Scary Baboon stuff.

The latest Scary Baboon update is live now, bringing Black GooGoo to The Lab alongside new secret areas to explore, new pets to hatch, a bigger Tech Tree and enough new weapons to make several extremely bad decisions.

Meet Black GooGoo

If you thought Meatman was bad, we have some unfortunate news.

Black GooGoo can now appear in The Lab, opening up a brand-new boss fight inside a pentagonal arena where staying alive means paying attention to both the monster and the floor.

Black GooGoo can call down lightning strikes, sweep huge sections of the arena with his arms and cover everything in front of him with a wave of goo.

His attacks can also destroy sections of the floor.

Those sections do eventually come back.

Pull the Levers

You’re probably not taking this thing down by standing in front of it and swinging wildly.

Probably.

Black GooGoo has five levers on his back. Pull all five and you’ll trigger a huge electrical strike that stuns him, giving everyone a chance to pile on the damage.

That means a little teamwork goes a long way.

One person can work the levers while everyone else keeps Black GooGoo busy, and the new ranged weapons make it much easier to keep doing damage when getting close starts looking like a terrible idea.

Just don’t celebrate too early.
